During the mid 90’s Simon Rose, a key figure on the European improvised music scene established Club Orange, a weekly club for free jazz and improvised music in north London. It quickly became a venue where just about everyone from the improvised scene in the UK , Europe and North America could be heard. Come and re-live that crazy, international energy at Sgt. Pepper’s – a club within a club – presenting Simon Rose from England, Kjell Nordeson from Sweden and Kanoko Nishi from Japan.
Intermission samples from Greenaway/Nyman’s sexy, raucous film The Draughtsman’s Contract.
